A crew of the drowned.
Every soul you raise carries a name and a homeland. Many carry an unsettled wrong. Some sail for you gladly. Some are only waiting for the tide to settle a grudge older than the ship.
A haunted maritime idle game
The sea took everything.
It is not finished with you.
You surface owing a debt you cannot name. A ledger washes against your hand, its pages swollen, unmarked, patient. A single skiff waits at the tideline, the few souls aboard wait restlessly. They will sail at your word.
Every soul you raise carries a name and a homeland. Many carry an unsettled wrong. Some sail for you gladly. Some are only waiting for the tide to settle a grudge older than the ship.
Will you sail the coastal shallows, or the open sea? Or perhaps the Deeps, if they decide you are ready. Each voyage returns a story: salvage hauled from a wreck, a hull that comes back scarred, a page the log can barely hold, or, it does not return at all.
Establish your ships' doctrines ... strip the wreck, scavenge light, or listen to the Fog, if you dare. The waters pay out depending on what you are willing to risk and what you are willing to lose.
Voyages resolve in real time, whether or not you keep the watch. Return with the next tide to find the ledger written in the sea's own hand.
